Joe Eberhard added 14 points for CdM (10-6), which opens Pacific Coast League play Wednesday at Beckman.

Western TournamentANAHEIM — Junior Talhia Nuñez scored seven goals in two Costa Mesa victories to help lead the Mustangs to finish 17th in the 32-team tournament Saturday.

Senior Abbie Dyvig scored six goals, three in each win, as the Mustangs defeated Torrance, 7-3, and Perris, 8-1, at Savannah High.

Senior Shyra Crandall had seven steals against Torrance. Nunez scored five against Perris, when senior goalie Brittany Mucha recorded 10 of her 16 saves on the day for the Mustangs (8-8).
