Hawks soar past Bulldogs

The Hawks broke open a scoreless Howe Division match with the Bulldogs by scoring four goals in the second period and continued to blister the net in a 7-1 victory at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Evan Hess led the scoring attack with three goals. Dylan Rodriguez scored twice and Manny Banuelos and Steven Landis each scored once.

Jake Rennison picked up a pair of assists and Brad Giszewski had 12 saves.

Johnny Richardson scored in a shootout session, as TnT survived Who Cares.

Garrett Blackwell scored off a feed by Cody Sizemore for the first TnT goal, and Jack Miller recorded 23 saves.

Alex Covert scored off an assist by Lawrence Benavente for the lone Who Cares goal and Dylan Moan had 21 saves.

Kings 4, The Meatballs 3

The Kings outscored The Meatballs, 2-1, in the final period to net the win.

Andrew Medrano scored the final three goals for the Kings, which came after an opening goal by Jeremy Corwin.

Auston Leming had two assists and Travis Bertrand finished with one assist.

Austin Arcala and Ethan Higbee each had a goal and an assist, Ethan Loy scored once, Kristian Burkhardt had two assists and Troy Baljeu had 17 saves for The Meatballs.
