BUNNY

Bunny is a 3-year-old, white, long-haired female cat available for adoption in a quiet home with only adults. She can be seen from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday outside Russo’s Pet Experience in Fashion Island.

Bunny is fearful and cannot be touched — not because she was abused but because she was rescued from a backyard, and grew up without being handled. She was allowed to run loose inside the house she lived in — avoiding her caregivers — and developed a fear of humans.

Community Animal Network believes that touch is very important, and educates its volunteers in order to prepare pets for adoption. It also offers a 30-minute class to each person who adopts one an animal.
