Chamber to present Spirit awards

Nominees have been announced for the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce’s 2007 Spirit of Laguna Awards.

Nominees for Premier Business of the Year are: Festival of the Arts; South Coast Medical Center; and Waste Management.

Nominees for Small Business of the Year are: South County Bank; La Casa del Camino; and A La Carte Gourmet.

The awards will be presented Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Chamber’s Board of Directors Installation, to be held from 7 to 10 p.m. at Tivoli, Too!, 777 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach. Tickets are $40 per person, including hosted wine and hors d’oeuvres, dinner and entertainment.

Chamber holds leadership luncheon

The Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce and real estate agent Bobbi Cox will present the 20th annual Leadership Laguna Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, at the Hotel Laguna, 425 So. Coast Highway, Laguna Beach.

Seating is limited and no reservations will be taken at the door. The cost is $40 pre-paid only.
