GOT SOMETHING TO WRITE?

Francis-Orr Fine Stationery in Corona del Mar recently finished a fabulous remodeling — beautiful cabinets, lighting and display areas — and it’s never looked better. The full-service fine stationery store has been an institution since 1965. Owner Harriett Malmon’s vision for a modern, comfortable and ultimate shopping environment is finally realized.

“It was important to support the top-quality merchandise,” Malmon said. “And Corona del Mar deserves it.”

Francis-Orr specializes in custom orders, personalized customer service, and it carries traditional to edgy stationery, classic engraved and letter press, and everything in between. Popular lines include Crane, William Arthur, Peculiar Pair Press, Obiation, Louella, Egg Press, Encore Edge and Claudia Calhoun. And Twig and Fig, a couture line of stationery.

It’s also a great place for gifts. Choose from hard-to-find leather desk accessories, gorgeous pens, letter openers with antique silver handles, enameled or silver frames, travel wallets, attache cases and more.

For Valentine’s Day find exquisite hand-made cards, and in March, brides-to-be can shop at the much-anticipated custom wedding invitation sale.

The store, 2823 E. Coast Highway, Corona del Mar, is open 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. For information, call (949) 675-1010 or go to www.francisorr.com
