UC Irvine 6, Pacific 1

IRVINE — Victor Lamm, Mustafa Ulukan and Zac Tsai all won in singles for the Anteaters in their Big West Conference opener Monday at Anteater Tennis Stadium.

Lamm defeated Vegerd Veskimagi, 6-3, 6-3, at No. 2 singles and teamed with Tsai to win their No. 3 doubles match, 8-6.

Ulukan beat Auistik Kakar, 6-1, 6-3, at No. 4 singles and paired with Hesham Kenawy to win at No. 1 doubles, 8-4.

Tsai was a 6-3 winner over Robert Price at No. 6 singles.

Anteaters Shimpei Suzuki and Andre Radulescu won at No. 3 and No. 5 singles, respectively.

UCI improved to 3-2, 1-0.

Pacific fell to 0-3, 0-2.

UCI plays host to Loyola Marymount Friday.
