Casa Laguna Inn and Spa enters best breakfast contest

Casa Laguna Inn and Spa of Laguna Beach is entering their recipe for “Smoked Salmon Crepe Purse with Cream Cheese Dill Mousse and Fennel Oil” in a national breakfast culinary competition called the Inn-Credible Breakfast Cook-Off.

The competition is being put on by Select Registry: Distinguished Inns of North America (www.selectregistry.com) for their 400-plus members.

The first-ever culinary competition has been created to recognize the culinary talents and creativity of Select Registry members.

Five finalists will be chosen and will go on to compete live at Select Registry’s annual conference and 35th anniversary at the Coeur d’Alene Resort in Idaho in May.

They will be competing for gold, silver and bronze prizes, as well as the claim to have “The Best Inn Breakfast.”
