MIXING IT UP

Thousands of people crowded into two buildings and a tent at the Orange County Fair and Exposition Center at Orange County’s Largest Mixer to network with businesses from Orange County.

People traded candy, cards and enthusiastic hellos in Costa Mesa as Talk Radio 790-AM KABC broadcasted live as part of its tribute to the city.

Radio personality Al Rantel talked about illegal immigration with callers and Costa Mesa Police Chief Christopher Shawkey, as people picked up pamphlets and business cards.

The radio station kicked off its All Star Talk Tour 2007 with a visit to Costa Mesa, starting with a morning broadcast outside the Starbucks at Metro Pointe, where Mayor Allan Mansoor declared March 8 the 790 TalkRadio KABC Day during an interview with Doug McIntyre.
