    CHABAD FUNDRAISER

    ART WORKSHOP

    TUESDAY

    EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

    A reception for Earth Day founder John McConnell will be held at Endangered Planet Gallery, 384 Forest Ave., Suite 13, at 3 p.m. At 4:45 p.m., the gathering moves to Main Beach (or will stay at the gallery in case of bad weather) to mark the official time of the equinox, which occurs at 5:07 p.m. The gathering will then proceed to City Hall at 5:45 p.m. in time for the 6 p.m. council meeting and a proclamation.

    ART STAR AWARDS

    The Laguna Beach Alliance for the Arts will hold its first annual Art Star Awards at (seven-degrees), 891 Laguna Canyon Road, at 6:30 p.m. The event is by invitation only.

    EARTH DAY PANEL

    MOM’S GROUP

    The Mom’s Group at Laguna Presbyterian Church, 415 Forest Ave. meets Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and is for mothers of young children to discuss parenting issues, family traditions and relationships. Meetings are free. Infants may accompany their parent to the meetings. Childcare for older babies and preschoolers is available for a small donation.
