    Students from the Academy for the Performing Arts will perform the musical, “Miss Saigon” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 2 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Huntington Beach Theater at Huntington Beach High School, 1905 Main Street. Miss Saigon is “a classic love story, a testament to the human spirit and a scathing indictment of the tragedies of war.” Show features some adult themes.     The National Professional Paintball League Super 7 World Series 2007 will make its first stop in Huntington Beach from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.     A two-day conference on the Bolsa Chica wetlands, hosted by the Western Alliance for Nature, the Amigos de Bolsa Chica and the Bolsa Chica Land Trust will be held at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort, 21100 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach. Conference speakers include Lt. Gov. elect John Garamendi, actor Beau Bridges, and State Senator Tom Harman.     The Assistance League of Huntington Beach is participating in a “Trade In, Trade Up,” promotion with the Huntington Beach Stein Mart, 19041 Beach Blvd., to raise funds for the League’s Bargain Box thrift store located at 8071 Slater Ave. Proceeds from the thrift store help support community projects. Assistance League members will collect the clothing dropped off at Stein Mart, and contributors will receive a 20% discount coupon from Stein Mart for each donated item (limit of 4 coupons).

    The Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum, 411 Olive Ave., presents its newest exhibit, SurFin’, a Direction of the Sport, the first time a collection of surfboard fins has been available for public viewing.
