Late score lifts Bulldogs past Hawks

The Bulldogs used a goal by Trevor Brenden to break a tie and defeat the Hawks, 4-3, in a Howe Division match Tuesday at the Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center.

The goal was the third of the match for Brenden. Chris Theriault also scored, and assists went to Brandon Pepper, Matthew Bozanich and Sydney Russakov.

Jessica Baltazar had 34 saves.

Evan Hess scored twice, and Manny Banuelos once for the Hawks. Steven Landis had three assists, one shared with Jake Rennison.

Brad Giczewski had 25 saves.

Meatballs 5, Who Cares 2

Kristian Burkhardt had two goals, and Ethan Loy scored twice and had two assists for the Meatballs. Other goals came from Austin Arcala and Daniel Burkhardt.

Brett Biederman and Derek Slayton scored goals, Sean McDaniel and Lawrence Benavente had assists, and Dylan Moan had 27 saves for Who Cares.
