Gerald Hahn Kingsley

77, of Newport Beach, CA, passed away peacefully at home on March 26, 2007. Jerry was surrounded by family and friends as he ended his battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Son of Adelaide and Kenneth Kingsley, Jerry was born October 8, 1929 in Pasadena, CA. He attended La Cañada Elementary School, Flintridge Prep. and graduated from USC in 1952. He took great pride in the 35 years he spent at Douglas Aircraft as an Industrial Designer. Jerry enjoyed sailing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his love of life, sense of humor and as a kind and generous Papa.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janie; children, Jeff (Denise) Kingsley of Newport Beach, Jana (Graham) Barter and Jill (Mike) Nunno (both of San Luis Obispo); grandchildren Allison and Jennifer Kingsley, Kevin, Brett and Ian Barter, Nathan and Addison Nunno. Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Kaye Truesdell.
