“My Fair Lady” will be back for an encore. So will “A Chorus Line” and “Phantom of the Opera.”

They’re all ticketed for the 2007-08 season of the Orange County Performing Arts Center — which, for the first time, will include a non-musical play on the schedule.

That would be Reginald Rose’s landmark TV drama “12 Angry Men,” now playing in Los Angeles in a revival starring another TV icon, Richard Thomas (John Boy from “The Waltons”). The jury will be out from Feb. 26 to March 9 of next year.

The big news, however, as the center announced its new season, is a relatively new entry — “Jersey Boys,” the Tony-award-winning story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons with all that 1960s music. This show will open the new season, running from Nov. 13 through Dec. 1.

Come Dec. 13, the center’s audiences will be treated to something only their New York counterparts enjoy — the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. The show comes complete with the Rockettes and will play through Dec. 30.

“Twelve Angry Men” will follow the Rockettes, after which one of Broadway’s all-time favorites checks in. Lerner and Loewe’s “My Fair Lady,” produced by Cameron Mackintosh and the National Theater of Great Britain, will present its 50th anniversary tour from June 3-25.

Another show that’s been missing for some time and will visit Costa Mesa next season will be “A Chorus Line,” which is planned for Aug. 26 to Sept. 7. Bob Avian, who choreographed the original with the late director Michael Bennett, will stage this tribute to Broadway’s “gypsy” dancers.

The center’s Curtain Call Series, which brings back its more popular offerings, has two shows on tap for next season. The first will be “Blast,” an explosion of music and theater by 35 brass, percussion and visual performers, which will be in town from Feb. 5-10.

The second is the ever-popular “Phantom of the Opera,” which will be back next year for another bit of musical seduction in an extended engagement March 26 to April 19. It’s the longest-running show in Broadway history, and its “Music of the Night” is sure to pack audiences in once more.

All seven shows will be performed in Segerstrom Hall, and additional information may be obtained by calling the center’s box office at (714) 556-2787.

Details also are available at the center’s website, www.ocpac.org/broadway .
