Paul Brecht,

, a long time resident of Orange County, passed away on April 7, 2007 at age 88. He was born in North Dakota on March 22, 1919. In 1962, he founded Brecht Orchid Gardens in Costa Mesa. He was well known for his extensive community service. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jane, and their two daughters and six grandchildren. There will be a Memorial Service at 12 noon on Saturday, April 14th at Pacific View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in memory of Paul to St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation.
