Oilers named to All-CIF boys’ soccer team

Five members of the Huntington Beach High boys’ soccer team, have been named to the 2006-07 All-Amateur Athletic Foundation’s Southern Section Division II team.

Senior defender John Shonjo was the lone Oiler named to the first team. Senior defenders Travis Geery and Dirk Petersen were selected second-team and senior forward Kyle McAthy and senior goalie Geo Hernandez both were third-team picks.

The various division teams were selected by the Southern California Soccer Coaches Assn.
