Local jeweler rated as top in its industry

Newport Beach’s Traditional Jewelers was named as Harper’s Bazaar Jewelry Leaders, making it one of the top 124 jewelry and watch retailers in the country.

Harper’s Bazaar editors and other “important industry figures” compiled the list, which was published in the May edition of the fashion magazine.

“Harper’s Bazaar is proud to salute Traditional Jewelers and America’s jewelry leaders — the top tier of America’s finest jewelry and watch stores,” Harper’s Bazaar senior vice president and publisher Valerie Salembier said in a news release.

Coldwell brokerage firm names president

Newport Beach resident Tom Iovenitti was named president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Orange County, making the Orange County branch of the company separate from the Los Angeles operations.

In his new role, Iovenitti will be responsible for daily operations at 14 Orange County sales offices and its 1,000 sales representatives there.

He will also oversee operations at the Previews marketing division for the company’s luxury operations.

Iovenitti previously worked as the vice president and regional manager for the company.
