Costa Mesa-based Tickets.com announced Wednesday it continued its partnership with AT&T; with a $2.5 million agreement that provides the company with long distance service and advanced features.

Tickets.com is a subsidiary of Major League Baseball Advanced Media and is a ticketing software engine behind many of the league’s baseball teams, as well as other entertainment and sports venues. The company, which most closely competes with Ticketmaster, will use AT&T; to support its online storefront and other ticketing services the company provides.

This agreement extends the 20-year relationship between the two companies.

“We have been pleased with the reliability of AT&T;’s services as well as the dependability from the sales and support teams,” Tickets.com chief information officer Brett Michalak said in a news release.
