CALABASAS — Viewpoint is the No. 1 seed in the CIF Southern Section Division IV boys’ tennis playoffs. Tuesday against Sage Hill School, the Patriots showed why, taking a 15-3 win in a quarterfinal match at Viewpoint.

No. 7-seeded Sage Hill (12-12) saw its season end in the CIF quarterfinals for the fifth consecutive season.

“We could have played a little better,” Lightning Coach A.G. Longoria said in a phone interview. “We had to play exceptionally well to have a chance, but they’re the No. 1 seed and played very, very well.”
