Register soon for the Corona del Mar Scenic 5K

Only a few days remain to register for the 26th Annual Corona del Mar Scenic 5K. Every year thousands participate in the run/walk held along the enchanting streets of the city and finishing on the bluffs above Big Corona Beach.

Merchant booths and food provided by local restaurants will accompany live music all along the course. The event kicks off with a warmup at 7:30 a.m. The men’s 5K starts at 7:55 a.m. and the women’s starts soon after at 8:20 a.m.

Registration for the 5K is $25, $30 on the day of the event, $15 for the 2-mile walk and $10 for the kid’s 1-mile Dolphin Dash.

The event is presented by the Corona del Mar Chamber of Commerce and the City of Newport Beach. Pre-registration packets are available for pick-up from noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at the Oasis Senior Center, 800 Marguerite Ave.
