National championshipANNAPOLIS, Md. — At the 2007 Intercollegiate Sailing Association/Gill Co-ed National Championship, UC Irvine finished in fourth place. The championship, which concluded Friday, took place on the Severn River at the U.S. Naval Academy.

The 18-school competition was won by the College of Charleston with 225 points through a total of 36 races. Yale and UCI tied for third with 237 points each, but Yale was awarded third place due to a tie-breaker.

The Anteaters’ Frank Tybor, Emma Nilsson and Megan Pluth placed fourth in A Division with 126 points through 18 races.

UCI’s Will Pochereva, Whitney Loufek and Chris Trezzo finished third in Division B with 111 points through 18 races.
