Huntington Beach Adult Education offers drama classes for older adults designed by experts. Enjoy seeing or studying plays produced locally in the Summer Play Festival or take Creative Dramatics for acting techniques from Robert Rotenberry, theater chair for the Academy of the Performing Arts. The Huntington Beach Council on Aging and the Michael E. Rodgers Seniors’ Center sponsor ongoing classes at the Center. Subjects include creative writing, tai chi chuan, Spanish, tap dance and bridge. Some classes are offered through Coastline Community College and the Adult Day School and require pre-registration.
