Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian and the American Lung Assn. will offer smoking cessation classes to the public.

The program is led by certified instructors and offers special attention and an individualized plan for participants.

Smokers will be shown how behavior modification, proper diet and nutrition and the management of stress through relaxation can help them become a nonsmoker, alleviate the symptoms associated with recovery, and resist the urge to return to smoking.
