Interfaith council invites congregations to meeting

The Newport Mesa Irvine Interfaith Council invites clergy and members of religious congregations to its monthly round table discussion on Wednesday at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church.

The subject of the meeting is Dealing with Dissent, and attendees will discuss how to deal with religious dissent as individuals, congregations and faith traditions.

The event begins with a reception at 11:45 a.m., followed by a luncheon and the program.

The church is at 183 E. Bay St., Costa Mesa.
