Panel to discuss models for new media ventures

The panel — which includes Mike Montgomery from Montgomery & Co., Dana Settle from Greycroft Partners, Rob Barnett from Rob Barnett Media and Eva Ho from Google/YouTube — will discuss a number of topics, including Internet advertising, the influence of iPods on the economy and business models for new media ventures.

The breakfast takes place from 7 to 9 a.m. Members of the Orange County Venture Group may attend for free; non-members pay $55 at the door.

Stefan Kaelin to hold golf clinic, fashion showStefan Kaelin Ski and Golf plans to hold a customer invitational on Tuesday, with a fashion show, a putting contest and discounts on clothing.

The event will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at the store at 2700 W. Coast Highway in Newport Beach. Throughout the evening, professional golfer Dan Kliener will provide free swing analysis to customers, while Walter Genuin, an Italian golf shoe company, will put on a trunk show of its fall collection.

Women’s clothing store comes to Costa MesaCALYPSO Christiane Celle, a women’s clothing retailer that started on the Caribbean island of St. Bart’s, has opened its latest California store at South Coast Plaza.
