NEWPORT BEACH — There are no more renderings needed to show what Breakers Stadium is supposed to look like.

People interested in the Newport Beach Breakers’ new home can now take a look at the Newport Beach Country Club’s parking lot.

Breakers Stadium finished construction over the weekend and on Monday, the Breakers’ staff and media were allowed to walk through as the final touches are being put before the opener on Friday.

The Breakers open the season against the Sacramento Capitals and Anna Kournikova at 7 p.m. in the facility that seats around 2,200 spectators.

The Breakers, coached by UC Irvine men’s tennis head man Trevor Kronemann, also have home dates Saturday, July 10, 15, 16, 22 and 25.

The final home match is when Maria Sharapova will play with the Breakers, who face the New York Sportimes and John McEnroe.

Sharapova, ranked No. 2 in the world, is competing in Wimbledon this week.

The construction on the NBCC parking lot began less than two weeks ago and was estimated to cost $200,000.

The Breakers played at Palisades Tennis Center before making their move this season. They will be managed by the Hoag Hospital Foundation and profits will go to Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian.
