Costa Mesa resident John Toohey was recently made partner in the Newport Beach law firm of Bremer Whyte Brown and O’Meara, LLP.

Toohey’s concentration is in the area of contract negotiation and litigation and product liability cases, including wrongful death and catastrophic injury.

For the last two years, Toohey has been involved in recruiting and mentoring young associates within the firm, and has also overseen the management of Bremer Whyte’s marketing department.

Corona del Mar resident Nicholas A. Burke received honors for the 2007 academic year at The Gunnery, the college preparatory school he attends in Washington, Conn. Burke will graduate in 2010.
