Newport Beach may get Lamborghini dealership

The city planning commission today will consider plans for a new Lamborghini dealership at 2244 West Coast Highway, a stone’s throw from dealers who sell Ferraris, Maseratis and Porsches. The outlet would only offer sales — no repairs — in a 19,930-square-foot facility.

Also on the commission agenda is a permit for “Let’s Roll,” a Capistrano Beach-based company that offers limo service to Orange County. The Newport office, at Birch Street just south of Bristol Street, would shuttle people mainly to and from John Wayne Airport between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.

The Newport Beach Planning Commission meets at 6:30 tonight at 3300 Newport Blvd. To view the agenda, visit www.city.newport-beach.ca.us, click on “calendar” and then the planning commission meeting.
