Huntington Beach resident Laura Kling, daughter of Susan and Thomas Kling, has been named to the dean’s list of Macalester College for her academic achievement. She is a Marina High School graduate. Students on the dean’s list have achieved a grade-point average of 3.70 or higher. Macalester College is a national liberal arts college with an enrollment of 1,884 full-time students and is recognized for its commitment to academic excellence.

Michael Scott Hensley of Huntington Beach made the Seattle Pacific University 2007 winter quarter dean’s list reflecting his completion of 12 credits at a 3.50 or higher grade point average.

Huntington Beach resident Lydia Rodriguez graduated from Columbia College Chicago on May 12. Rodriguez earned her undergraduate degree in theater. Columbia is an institution committed to excellence in higher education and provides degree programs in the visual, performing, media and communication arts.
