Ken Perdue memorial set for Monday
Ken Perdue died July 16 after a long battle with cancer. Perdue, 59, had lived in Laguna Beach for the past 20 years.
He was born in Oakland. While a youth, his family moved to Fullerton and then to Mercer Island, Wash. He participated in competitive water skiing well into his twenties.
In his mid-life years, he opened his own marketing consulting firm in Laguna Beach.
He is survived by his partner, Betti Tounger; a sister, Gail Bleeker; and cousin, Larry Offen.
Friends are planning a memorial get-together at 4 p.m. Monday at Monument Point in Laguna’s Heisler Park followed by BYO refreshment at the inside bar at Las Brisas. All who knew him are invited to attend.
