Running of the cows through Costa Mesa

Be part of the thundering herd at today’s cattle drive to the Orange County Fairgrounds.

About 125 cowhands on horseback will help guide 300 Corriente steers through the streets of Costa Mesa.

Find a spot on the route from Fairview Park, south on Placentia Avenue, east on Victoria Street, and north up Harbor Boulevard to Fair Drive. The herd will be on the hoof starting at 10:30 a.m. at the north end of Fairview Park, and entering Gate 2 on Vanguard Way by noon.
