MAILBAG:Find City Hall site that works
City Council, DMJM consultants and the majority of the voting public are not certified geologists, civil engineers, traffic engineers or architects.
DMJM went so far as to qualify their conclusions on this important point, stating that the total cost of building on these sites was unknown without these professional studies, and that the $10 million differential was based on limited information available to them.
If these sites are either unsuitable or costly, then find one that works somewhere else in Newport Center or stay put and refurbish the existing City Hall.
Rosansky, Johnson, Croul, Ficker and others should be careful what they wish for: February voters will be the same ones who passed Greenlight and the General Plan Amendment by a large majority.
You want us to be the judge? Happy to oblige.
