Celebrating the Life of Elaine Ruiz

Friends are invited to join us on Monday, August 20 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Newport Beach Tennis Club (2601 Eastbluff Drive) to celebrate the wonderful life of Elaine Ruiz, who sadly passed away August 10.

For nearly three decades Elaine was a hair stylist at the Clipper Ship, located originally at the Balboa Bay Club and currently at the Newport Beach Tennis Club. “Elaine never missed a day,” said Clipper Ship owner Alice Vayner. “Her commitment to her clients was a big part of her passion and her life.”

Elaine’s clients included more than a few famous people including former U.S. Presidential candidate Barry Goldwater, three time New York Yankees manager Billy Martin, and comedian Joey Bishop.
