BOSTON — With just two more events left on the Assn. of Volleyball Professionals tour, things are bound to start winding down.

But top-seeded Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh looked to be in top form at the Boston Open Friday.

May-Treanor and Walsh were 2-0 in the main draw and will face No. 4 Tyra Turner and Rachel Wacholder today in the women’s quarterfinal. The world champions defeated Katie and Tracy Lindquist 21-10, 21-14 in less than half an hour to advance.
