Financial conference to focus on women’s health

“Healthy, Wealthy and WISE” is the theme for this year’s Invest in Yourself Financial Strategies Conference for Women, sponsored by Women Investing in Security and Education (WISE).

Beginning and advanced personal finance and investing workshops will be offered in four breakout sessions from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Hilton Orange County/ Costa Mesa Hotel, located at 3050 Bristol St.

Women can choose from nineteen workshops on a variety of subjects including asset allocation strategies, choosing a financial planner, mistakes women make planning for retirement and charitable giving.

New to the conference this year are four workshops on health.

Cost for the seminar is $20, and scholarships are available from the Charles Schwab Foundation, one of the sponsors of the conference.

The conference fee is $99 if paid by August 31; from Sept. 1 through 8 the cost will increase to $119. To register, call (949) 588-2429 or go to www.invest-in-yourself.org.
