The new Sunday brunch at French 75 Bistro in Fashion Island now offers diners “free-flowing” champagne and a special, three-course prix-fixed menu that includes an appetizer, entree and dessert.

Heirloom tomatoes and French onion soup are a few of the appetizers diners can choose from, while entrees include the more traditional breakfast fare of creme brulee French toast with bacon or ham. Dessert items include Belgian chocolate souffle or chocolate and hazelnut-filled crepes. Brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Cost is $32.95 per person.

Restaurant offers surf and turf Fridays

The Palm Terrace Restaurant and Lounge at The Island Hotel, 690 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach is offering a “Chilled Surf and Grilled Turf” dinner every Friday night from 4 to 8 p.m. through Labor Day.

The summer menu includes chilled prawns, lobster and crab claws, New York steak and pork baby back ribs. “S’mores Made to Order” are available for dessert.

The Surftones, performing oldies but goodies by the Beach Boys, The Ventures and The Safaris provide the evening’s entertainment. Cost is $69 per person.

Sage on the Coast part of Dine Out program

From Sunday to Thursday, Sage on the Coast will participate in San Pellegrino’s Dine Out program — benefiting Share Our Strength — by creating special three-course menus for lunch and dinner, paired with a complimentary bottle of San Pellegrino Sparkling Mineral Water. For every meal served, San Pellegrino will donate $1 to Share Our Strength, an organization working to end childhood hunger across America. Cost for lunch is $25; dinner is $35.
