Library offering financial education workshops

A series of eight free workshops on financial education will be offered at the Newport Beach Central Library every Monday from Sept. 10 to Oct. 29. Sponsored by the Newport Beach Public Library Foundation, the series will be hosted by financial advisor Peter Kote and will feature speakers from various sectors of the financial services industry.

Library foundation officials note that because the workshops are solely educational, nothing will be sold and information about those who attend will not be shared with financial professionals.
