Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian has been named the most preferred hospital among Orange County residents in a consumer study, marking the 12th year in a row the nonprofit has received the honor.

In an annual market survey by the National Research Corporation, respondents gave Hoag the highest ratings in quality of nurses, quality of doctors, image, reputation and other categories. The Newport Beach hospital won the corporation’s Consumer Choice Award.

“Hoag Hospital is committed to serving the community by providing the highest quality care to our patients,” Richard Afable, president and chief executive of Hoag, said in a news release. “We are proud to receive this award, which represents a quality endorsement from the community. This recognition is a testament to the dedication of the physicians, nurses and entire health care team at Hoag Hospital.”
