Harman to lead restoration talks

State Sen. Tom Harman will lead a public meeting on the Huntington Beach Wetlands Restoration Project next week. The meeting covers the area of wetlands stretching from the Santa Ana River to Newland Street along Pacific Coast Highway, and will inform the public of its current status.

As well as Harman, officials from the Huntington Beach Wetlands Conservancy and consultants for the project will be present. The meeting is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sept. 27, at the Edison High School cafeteria, 21400 Magnolia Ave.
