KOCE-TV, Orange County’s public television channel, has announced the appointment of two new officers, with Suzanne O’Keeffe stepping in as marketing manager and Lee Ann Canaday joining the KOCE-TV Foundation’s board of directors.

O’Keeffe, who most recently served as director of marketing and public relations for the Pacific Chorale in Santa Ana, has also directed a music festival promotions company and founded her own film production firm, Eluminate Films. At KOCE, she will oversee strategic planning, brand marketing and public relations campaigns.

“This is certainly a time of great opportunity for KOCE-TV,” O’Keeffe said in a news release. “With so much of media in flux, public television continues to be held in extremely high esteem by viewers.”

Canaday, a licensed Realtor and host of the cable show “Canaday Estates on Video,” also serves as a member of the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce and other bodies. She joins the board of the KOCE-TV Foundation, which recently retained ownership of the station after a lengthy court battle with the Daystar Television Network.

“I look forward to parlaying my philanthropic and fundraising expertise, as well as my experience with and knowledge of television media, to serve the needs of KOCE-TV,” Canaday said in a news release. “This is a particularly exciting time to get involved with the station, and I look forward to facilitating strong community alliances and assisting the station as it continues to thrive.”
