An Evening of Copland begins orchestra season

Orange Coast College’s Symphony Orchestra is kicking off its 47th season with six concerts during the 2007-08 academic year.

The opening concert, An Evening of Copland, is scheduled for 8 p.m. Saturday in the Robert B. Moore Theatre on campus.

The orchestra’s second concert will be at 8 p.m. Oct. 20. OCC’s chamber singers will help present music and dance from China, Mexico, Canada, Spain, India, Japan and Africa.
