Lightning to host second annual invitational today

The Sage Hill School girls’ tennis team will play host to the second annual Prep Classic Invitational today and Saturday at Balboa Bay Club Racquet Club.

Sage Hill, the No. 2-ranked team in CIF Southern Section Division IV, is the third-seeded team in the eight-team tournament, with each squad guaranteed three matches.

First-round matches are today at 3 p.m., with the second round Saturday at 11 a.m. and the final round to follow at 3 p.m.

Chadwick School of Palos Verdes, the defending Division III champion, is the top-seeded team in the tournament.
