Auction to benefit Project Playhouse held tonight

This year, the nonprofit HomeAid Orange County put on the 16th annual Project Playhouse at Fashion Island to raise money to renovate shelters for children and families. Tonight, there will be an auction in the parking lot by Bloomingdale’s as HomeAid awards eight playhouses to the highest bidder and gives away the other two in a raffle.

The auction begins with dinner at 5:30 p.m., with the raffle drawing around 7 p.m. and the live auction starting soon after. Tickets are $40 for adults, $15 for children ages 4 to 12 and $100 for a family four-pack of two adults and two children.
