COSTA MESA — Tyler Wayman, Danny O’Neil and Josh Young each scored two goals for the Eagles, who finished sixth in the Estancia Tournament Saturday.

Estancia (4-9) received a win earlier in the day when Rancho Alamitos forfeited the match. Sage Hill won the eight-team tournament, beating Costa Mesa, 7-3.

NEWPORT BEACH — Sailors senior Colin McKibbin scored a game-high six goals and added two steals in the nonleague game Saturday at Newport Harbor High.

Matt Russell (two goals) and Clinton Jorth (one) each had five steals for the Tars (16-2), the top-ranked team in the CIF Southern Section Division I coaches’ poll. Brandon Parole had three steals.

Laguna Beach, the No. 8-ranked team in Division II, fell to 10-6.
