Jeri Barrett

(April 27, 1939 - May 6, 2007)

Long time Mammoth resident Jeri Barrett passed away peacefully Sunday morning, May 7, 2007 at Renown Medical Center in Reno Nevada. Jeri suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on Friday May 4, 2007 in Mammoth before being airlifted to Reno. Her family Tony, Paul, Rick, Jac, Kody and family dogs Molly and Ziggy were at her side.

Jeri was born in San Francisco on April 27, 1939, to Harold Faulkner and Constance Mary Dwan. Jeri went to Compton High School and married her high school sweethart Clyde Barrett in 1956. Jeri lived in Huntington Beach, Ca. until the death of her husband Clyde in 1989. Jeri moved to Mammoth with her her sons in 1990. Jeri is survived by her son, Tony Barrett, son in law Paul Jurewitz, grandson Jac Barrett, grandson Kody Barrett, son Rick Barrett , daughter in law Rachel Barrett and her daughter Sopie of Mammoth, former daughter in law Denise Smith of South Gate Ca., granddaughter Brandy Moet (Angie) Barrett Monroy of Berkley Ca.,sister Yvonne Bunch of Westminster Ca., sister in law Carolyn Paxton of La Quinta Ca., cousins Dee Dee Holt of Anaheim Ca., Joan Walker of Huntington Beach and many nephews, nieces, grand and great nieces and nephews.

Catholic mass and services were held at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Mammoth on May 19, 2007 with a “Celebration of Life Party” following at the Village at Mammoth events Plaza. Jeri was loved, admired and respected by many and all she met and she will be dearly missed.
