Philanthropists will toast to ending child abuse tonight with fine wine and charitable donations.

Harvesting Hope for the Olive Crest Kids hosts a wine-tasting evening from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Balboa Bay Club and Resort, 1221 W. Coast Hwy., Newport Beach. Admission is $195, and guests are invited to donate bottles of wine for an auction and tasting. All of the proceeds will go toward benefiting abused children in the Orange County area.

Harvesting Hope works toward preventing child abuse and educating the public concerning treatment, risk and family preservation.
