UC Irvine 2, UC Davis 1

DAVIS — UC Irvine scored both its goals in just 82 seconds to beat UC Davis, 2-1, Sunday at Aggie Soccer Stadium in a Big West Conference match.

Senior Makenzie Beahm and senior Kim Horn both scored as the Anteaters improved to 9-5-1 overall and 3-1 in the Big West.

Rochelle VanBuskirk had the Aggies’ only score.

Freshman goalkeeper Danielle de Seriere picked up her eighth win of the year with eight saves, while Aggies’ ‘keeper Megan Daws recorded two saves.

The ‘Eaters host Long Beach State Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Anteater Stadium.
