The time has come to eat, drink and be scary as the 10th annual Trick or Treat Festival rolls into town from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Orange County Marketplace in Costa Mesa.

Observe famed pumpkin sculptor “Farmer” Mike Vallado chiseling designs from 450-plus-pound gourds. Or stuff your own gourd at the Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest at noon.

Little monsters can grab candy from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dr. Demento pays tribute to Weird Al Yankovic at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

The shock doc will lead the procession of antique, classic and other tricked-out hearses through the city at 10 a.m. into the back of the marketplace.
