Harman to host discussion at Costa Mesa office

Sen. Tom Harman (R-Huntington Beach) invites constituents to his second annual open house at his Orange County Office in Costa Mesa from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The senator will field questions and host a discussion about new and old district issues, legislation and future goals. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the district office at 950 South Coast Drive, Suite 240, Costa Mesa.

Harman is the representative for the 35th District. He was elected to the senate for the first time in 2006 and is now the lead Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee. He is also a member of six other committees. He has been outspoken in his fight against illegal immigration and limiting the role government plays in the personal lives of citizens.

He served as a state assemblyman and prior to that served six years on the Huntington Beach City Council. He has lived in Orange County for about 50 years.
