Seminar to address sales management woes

For companies starting out, managing sales can be a hair-raising endeavor. The Cerius Consulting Group, which formed five years ago to offer advice to large and small companies, hopes to address some of those anxieties Friday at a morning conference at the Hilton in Costa Mesa.

“How to Avoid the Biggest Surprises in Managing Your Sales Force,” which starts at 7:30 a.m. and concludes at noon, is intended for chief executives, presidents, business owners and other people in charge of marketing. Speakers will discuss how to make sales forecasts, how to oversee a sales team and other topics.
