South Coast Plaza debuts holiday carousel horses

The lingering effects of Halloween candy haven’t worn off for many, but South Coast Plaza plunged into the holiday season this week, converting its carousel horses into reindeer and kicking off two months of year-end festivities.

The Reindeer Carousel debuted Friday and is scheduled to remain through Jan. 6.

Parents looking for stocking stuffers can pick up Carousel Express Cards at one of the mall’s concierge locations. The cards go for $5, $10 and $25, with rides costing $1 each; the cards also include one, two and three free rides, respectively, and the $25 card throws in a Rainforest Cafe certificate for a free kid’s meal.
